Mommy Life

Greg and I welcomed our first baby, Jameson, in January of 2020. We had no idea what we were doing and, in many ways, still don’t. We have learned so much and continue to learn everyday.

Experimental Cook

I wouldn’t classify myself as a “good cook” but I truly enjoy both cooking and baking. I get my inspiration from cooking shows, magazines, websites, food bloggers, etc.. and either try to replicate or slightly modify those recipes. I’m always on the hunt for a new recipe to try.

Fitness

I had always been thin and never had to watch what I ate. In fact, I was that kid that everybody would say “where do you put it?” When I graduated college and stopped playing collegiate softball, I noticed that my weight began to fluctuate. After I had Jameson, I was the biggest I’d ever been in my life. My weight is still a challenge and I hope by sharing my weight-loss journey, I can help inspire those that feel they are in a rut.
